About Zero

Zero for Change is a community initiative targeting the issue of gender-based violence and inequality towards women in our communities. It is created to support women and young girls through education, empowerment, and awareness. This initiative is grounded in real conversations, workshops, and community engagement.

Founded by Roopan Kaur Sidhu, Zero for Change stands as a commitment to helping others feel seen, safe, strengthened, and informed. As a Trauma and Resilience Life Coach, nurse, educator, and advocate, Roopan K. Sidhu blends her background in healthcare, public speaking, and advocacy to deliver purposeful, impactful, and moving educational sessions to bring awareness and support in combating the global issue of GBV with a goal to make a change.

Zero for Change focuses on meaningful impact — offering workshops, programs, and discussions that teach confidence, finding your voice, boundaries, emotional well-being, and awareness of GBV with the goal to bringing communities together to rise above it.

We stand for “zero-tolerance” towards GBV.
